Electric two wheeler brand Niu has unveiled new scooter Gova G5 in the Nepali market today.
Eco Infinity, the official distributor for Nepal, has launched the electric scooter by organizing an event today. In addition, the keys have been handed over to 10 customers who bought this scooter today.
The unveiling and real handover was done by Tarun Bajracharya, Executive Director of Eco Infinity and Pragun Rajbhandari, Executive Director.
Made with modern style and smart design theme, this scooter looks very stylish. The scooter is powered by a 32-volt, 45-amp-lithium-ion battery and a 3,000 Watt motor. It is claimed to be fully charged within 6.5 hours and provides a range of 85 to 100 kilometers once fully charged.

NIU Gova G5 Overview
The NIU Gova G5 is a top-of-the-line electric scooter. It’s more powerful and has a longer range, so it’s perfect for traveling around the city.
Design
NIU Gova G5 bears a striking resemblance to its younger sibling, the Gova 03. An H-shaped matrix LED headlamp and LED indicators sit atop the vehicle.
There are a few slender lines and cuts on the side panel. A LED taillight and a pillion grab bar are included in the back area.
The seat is larger and more comfy. In addition, both the driver and the passenger have plenty of room.
It’s also available in red, grey, and white, for a total of three color choices.
Performance
Gova G5 is propelled by a brand-new fourth-generation NIU Lithium-ion battery and a Bosch motor. Maximum power output: 3900W; maximum speed: 70 Kmph.
The 72V, 45Ah power unit has a claimed range of 85-100 kilometers based on various modes. Normally, it takes 6 to 7 hours to charge to 100%.
In addition, linear power supply and real-time data processing are provided by the FOC motor control system.
Dimensions
Aesthetically, Gova G5 measures 2008 millimeters long by 685 millimeters wide and 1166 millimeters high. It has a seat height of 807 mm, and a ground clearance of 140 mm.
Hardware
The Gova G5 is constructed of carbon structural steel of the highest grade. Hydraulic damping is used up front, while spring air damping is used at the back.
At the front of the scooter, there is a 220mm disc and a 180mm disc. When the brakes are engaged, it has an EBS, which is an interesting feature since it regenerates power.
At the front and back, the alloy wheels on this electric scooter measure 14″ and 12″. A 90/90-14 front tire, and a 120/70-14 rear tire, are also on board.
With a top cruising speed of 85 kmph, the scooter has tubeless tires and disc brakes on both wheels. It also has regenerative braking system.
This scooter has features like rear reflector, protector, handlebar lock, right hand combination switch, front fender, right reflector and vehicle identification number.

Available in a total of three color options including red, white and gray, its starting price is set at Rs 3,64,000.
It costs Rs. 88,000 more than its sibling, Gova G3, which currently retails for Rs. 2,77,000. When it comes to competitiveness, the Segway Ninebot E125 is a close second.
The Gova G5 is now available in all NIU showrooms around the country in terms of stock availability.
