Introduced OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro: affordable 5G flagships
Over the past few weeks, much has been said about the presentation of the new additions to the Reno family. Now, during an event held in China, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro was officially unveiled.
This new 5G smartphone comes with an extremely beautiful design, featuring a screen with extremely thin edges, slightly curved edges and a small punch hole at the top left.
Its rear panel arrives with a metallic finish that puts a great deal of emphasis on colorful patterns. Its quad-lens camera is positioned at the top left and vertically aligned.

OPPO positions this model as the thinnest smartphone with 5G support – a thickness of 7.7 mm.
The smartphone received the almost flagship Snapdragon 765G processor with support for 5G and 8 GB of RAM as standard. The battery is 4025 mAh, the standard volume for such a smartphone. But there is a very fast charge of 30 watts – up to 50% in just 20 minutes.
The base OPPO Reno3 Pro with 8/128 GB costs 3999 yuan in China – about NRs 65,150 equivalent at todays exchange rate. Pre-order will open on December 31.
The Younger – Reno 3
The basic Reno 3 apart from its premium model has more modest characteristics and a screen without edges on the sides. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor with a built-in 5G modem, as well as 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The smartphone comes preloaded with ColorOS 7 based on the latest Android 10. There are stereo speakers and NFC.
The Reno 3 also has four cameras, but their characteristics are simpler. There is a main one at 64 megapixels, wide-angle at 8 megapixels, black and white and a depth sensor at 2 megapixels.
Reno 3 in China costs 3399 yuan – about NRs 55,360.
