The Nokia T20 is a new Android-powered tablet from Nokia launched today

In 2014, the original Nokia tried to enter the Android tablet market with its Nokia N1,in an attempt to steal some prominence from the iPad, but failed. Now, years later and under the HMD branding, the company is going to try again with a new model called Nokia T20.

This tablet inherits some of the traits of the smartphones developed by Nokia and HMD, including the reduced price and the support policy that ensures updates for three years.

The Nokia T20 is a medium-sized tablet. It equips a 10.4-inch screen with 2K resolution (1,200 x 2,000 pixels),surrounded by thin bezels and built with an aluminum body that gives shape to its chassis.

Inside is the UNISOC Tiger T610 processor with eight cores capable of running at a maximum of 1.8 GHz.

A 3 or 4 GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB internal storage chip are included, with the latter expandable via microSD.

The tablet is backed by a large 8,200 mAh battery that supports USB-C fast charging up to 15W.

The tablet runs Android 11 operating system, and the manufacturer guarantees that it will receive security updates and new versions of Android for at least two years after it is released.

Additionally, the company’s software includes unique features like a “kids’ zone” and the Android Enterprise Recommended certification, which ensures smooth operation in work environments.

It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for photography.

The Nokia T20’s price and release date

For the Wi-Fi only model, the new Nokia tablet will cost you 199 euros when it goes on sale in October. A 4G version will be available for an additional 239 euros.
