Besides Amazon, Big Basket, City Link, DOT, Flipkart, LetsTransport, MoEVing, and Yelo EV, Tata Motors has signed key Memoranda of Understanding with leading e-commerce enterprises and logistics service providers.

Delivery of 39,000 Ace EVs; establishment of dedicated Electric Vehicle Support Centers for maximum fleet uptime; deployment of Tata Fleet Edge – the next-generation optimal fleet management solution; and support of Tata UniEVerse, the proven enabling eco-system of relevant Tata Group companies are all included in this package.

Tata Motors’ EVOGEN powertrain is used for the first time in the Ace EV, giving it a 154-kilometer certified driving range that is unmatched.

It has an innovative battery cooling system and regenerative braking system to increase the vehicle’s operating range while also keeping it safe in all conditions.

High uptime is made possible by the vehicle’s ability to charge on demand and quickly.

It has a peak torque of 130Nm and a maximum cargo volume of 208 ft cube thanks to a 27kW (36hp) engine with a grade-ability of 22%, making it easy to climb even when fully loaded.

Lightweight, robust materials make the Ace EV’s container ideal for e-commerce operations.

In addition to regenerative braking and a battery cooling system, the company claims it has a battery cooling system. With a touchscreen display and voice recognition that works in Hindi and English, the Ace EV’s interior is a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Ace was first introduced in 2005, and after selling over 23 lakh units in that time, it has been electrified. Small-cargo vehicle market share in India now stands at 70% for the Ace.

Its starting price is INR. 4 lakh, and it may go up to INR. 5.5 lakh for the Tata Ace standard model (ex-showroom). Expect the price of the Ace EV to rise to around INR. 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
