Following on the footsteps of its flagship device Red Magic 5G, ZTE introduced a more affordable smartphone Nubia Play 5G, which is also catered for fans of mobile gaming. The device has inherited the support of fifth-generation networks and AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.65″, Full HD resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate.
The device is equipped with a high-quality AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.65 inches and full HD resolution (2340 X 1080 pixels). This panel has a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. A fingerprint scanner is built into the display area.
The camera system includes a 12-megapixel selfie module, which is located in the upper frame of the display. The rear quad-setup camera combines Sony’s 48-megapixel IMX582 main sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor and ultra-wide-angle lens(120 degrees) with a 2-megapixel macro-module and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Nubia Play 5G comes equipped with a Snapdragon 765G processor that includes eight Kryo 475 cores clocked up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 620 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X52 5G modem. An effective liquid cooling system ICE2.5 (thermal tubes) is also installed.
There are Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5 adapters, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou receiver, NFC controller, USB Type-C port. The dimensions are at 171.7 x 78.5 mm, and the weight is 210 grams.
Nubia Play is equipped with 5100 mAh powerful battery with fast 30-watt charging support. The Android 10 operating system with nubia UI 8.0 is used.
In China, the Nubia Play 5G will be sold from April 24 at a price of 2,399 yuan (NRs 41,310), making it the most affordable 5G-enabled smartphone. It’s even cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite.The following versions of Nubia Play are available:
