MIUI 11 to arrive on these Xiaomi and Redmi models

A well-informed source published details about the long-awaited MIUI 11 firmware in Weibo. As it turned out, it will be released soon – the official announcement will happen in August, the 15th or 19th. But this will be a formal premiere, and a full one will take place in September – on the 9th or 12th. Well, a stable version of the firmware will appear a month later – in October.

MIUI is compatible with a large number of chipset like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 855 Plus, 845, 835, 821, 730, 712, 710, 675, 660, 625, MediaTek Helio G90, P35, P22, A22, as well as Surge S1. So if the smartphone is built on one of these SoC, then it will be eligible to receive MIUI 11.

However, a list of smartphones that will receive MIUI 11 in the first, second and third phase has already been published. So, initially the firmware will become available for these models: Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 Explorer Edition, Mi 9 SE, Mi Mix 3, CC9, Redmi K20, K20 Pro.

In the second stage there are 16 models: Xiaomi CC9e, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 SE, Mi 8 Lite, Mi Mix 2s, Mi Max 3, Mi Note 3, Mi 6, Mi Play, Mi 6X, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 5.

But the owners of these Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones will have to wait MIUI 11 for the longest time: Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Mi MIX, Mi Max 2, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi S2, Mi 5X, Mi 5C and Mi 5s Plus.

Also, MIUI 11 should arrive in Pocophone F1, Redmi Note 6 Pro and Mi Pad tablets this year.
