International Marketing Services (IMS), the sole authorised distributor of Samsung mobile phones, has launched the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and Galaxy Gear “smartwatch”.
The new products that have been launched under the theme “Designs Your Life” come with innovative features that help users perform their daily tasks in a better way, according to IMS.
The Galaxy Note 3 comes with the S Pen-optimised features like Air Command, Action Memo, Scrapbook, S Finder, Pen Window, Multi Window and Direct Pen Input. The device features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED screen which offers a stunning and defined video viewing experience for watching Full HD content, distinct clarity for reading and an elegant canvas for content creation, IMS said.
It also has an improved “Find My Mobile” feature that allows users to disable the phone in case it is stolen or lost. The Note 3 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and supports connectivity like WiFi 802, GPS/Glonass, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and IR LED (remote control).
The 13 MP rear and 2 MP front-facing camera offer features like dual shot, dual recording, dual video call, and auto focus with image stabilisation. The device comes with a 32 GB user memory which can be expanded via a micro SD card. The standard Li-ion battery of the Note 3 has 3,200 mAh capacity.
Likewise, the Galaxy Gear is a new concept device which comes with a range of valuable features and commands that can be extended to the Note 3. According to the company, Gear allows users to get quick previews of incoming texts, emails and other applications related to the Note 3. “Users can click video and images from the Gear and transfer them to their Galaxy Note 3 device,” said IMS.
IMS President Dikesh Malhotra said they have also launched a number of introductory offers. The company provides a 1 GB Ncell data card for free for the next three months, EMI facility at zero percent interest rate and an free insurance facility that covers the loss in case of any physical damage to the device.
