Insider Evan Blass has published the first official images of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch.

The renderings show a 45 mm version with the model number SM-R840 while there will also be a separate 41 mm model. It has a stainless steel case, a 22 mm leather strap with a standard mount, a heartbeat sensor, two control buttons and, most importantly – a rotating bezel for interacting with the interface. By the way, the leak confirms that the watch will also receive GPS, tempered glass Gorilla Glass DX, protection against water 5ATM and shock MIL-STD-810G.

Recall that this model will boast a 1.4-inch AMOLED display, an 8 GB drive, Samsung Pay contactless NFC module, an ECG sensor and a blood pressure measurement function. It’s also said to run on Tizen OS 5.5.

Not much can be discerned from the display of the watch but those leather straps look pretty neat. The watch face in the render could be the default one on the Galaxy Watch 3 and shows readings for steps taken, battery percentage, as well as weather. We’re pretty sure Samsung will let users customize the watch face as it does on all its smartwatches.

The 41mm version of the watch will include a battery with a capacity of 247 mAh, and the larger one will have 340 mAh. Galaxy Watch 3 will also support wireless charging and will have NFC connectivity.
