Dragonair to upgrade its reservations system over the weekend

As Dragonair upgrades its reservations system over the weekend, many online systems will be temporarily unavailable.

This upgrade will not impact Dragonair’s flight schedule. The airline provides the following tips to minimise inconvenience during the next few days.

Passengers travelling on Feb 11 and 12 Hong Kong time should ensure they have copies of their e-tickets with them when arriving at the airport. Online ticket purchases will become temporarily unavailable at 3pm Hong Kong time on Feb 11. Passengers wishing to buy tickets online for travel on Feb 11, 12 or 13 should do so on or before Feb 10. Online check-in and boarding pass printing will be temporarily suspended at 3pm Hong Kong time on Feb 11.

Passengers wishing to use these services for flights on Feb 11 and 12 should do so before midday on Feb 11. Online check-in is available 48 hours prior to flight departure. Online seat selection will become temporarily unavailable at 3pm Hong Kong time on Feb 11. Passengers should make online seat selections for flights on Feb 11 or 12 on or before Feb 10.

Special meal requests must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Special meals for flights on Feb 11, 12 or 13 should be ordered on or before Feb 10.

Website and mobile functionality will be brought back online in stages throughout the day on Sunday, Feb 12. The majority of the above services are planned to resume by 8pm that day.

During the cutover weekend, passengers may visit Dragonair’s Facebook (www.facebook.com/dragonair) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/dragonair) pages for updated information including flight status.
